The Star Club will be open from Monday 20 July until Wednesday 2 September (inclusive) and will be open to children from 3 to 11 years of age from 8am until 6pm every weekday (excluding Bank Holidays).
The theme during the summer break will be 'Dance and Music'. Activities will include Dance and Music, Singing, Games, Drama, Face Painting and Crafts plus the usual Pick 'n' Mix Activities. Various sports will be available including Uni-hockey, Football, Tennis, Basketball/Handball plus Free Choice, Chilling Out Times and much more...
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and bookings must be paid for in advance to secure your child's place. Booking forms are available from Starcross Pre-school, the after-school club and the school office at Starcross Primary School. Please note that advance booking and payment is required at all times.

The Star Club is a playscheme/holiday club for children of both pre-school and school age (3-11 years old). It is open every holiday in line with Starcross Primary School holidays from 8.00am to 6.00pm daily, except for weekends and bank holidays. It offers a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can form friendships and have fun.
Our staff are well-trained and experienced, and create a positive, supportive and creative atmosphere for the children. Snacks will be provided at regular intervals throughout the day, and drinks will be available at all times. Children will need to bring their own packed lunch if they will be present over the lunch period.

The Star Club is run by a volunteer committee called the Management Team. In February 2009, the Management Team reformed as a new committee that oversees the Star Club directly.

Fees must be paid in advance when booking, and are calculated as follows:
Half Day - £10.25, Full Day - £16.25
Sessions: 8.00am to 1.00pm / 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Peak Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm - £11.25 / 9.00am to 5.00pm - £13.75
The Ofsted inspector met with the Star Club Manager in November 2007 and from the photographic evidence was able to see how the recent summer holiday (2007) had gone. The inspector was very impressed with the club.
The policies were classed as a "very comprehensive set of documents". These are available for parents/carers to read and make comment upon if they wish.
Throughout all holidays we offer a 'Pick and Mix' choice of activities, quiet times, watching DVDs and chilling out! Plus sports days and outdoor games plus much much more. See some photographs of work produced by children at the Star Club.
