We will be meeting at Powderham Castle, by the Admissions Hut, at 9.45am. The March starts at 10.00am. Please make your own way there with a picnic.
Please Note: No staff will be able to provide transport for any children; this must be organised parents/carers.
More information can be found in the letter to parents/carers regarding the Monkey March at Powerderham Castle and the Monkey March Poster.
Visitors to the Pre-School site will see that the structure of the new building is pretty much complete. There is still work to be completed on the inside of the building, but we are hoping this will be finished in the very near future. Of course we were all hoping that we could be inside the new building by now and enjoying the facilities it has to offer, but due to various circumstances beyond our control this has not been the case. We do hope to be moving back in very soon, and will of course keep you updated on any developments. Until then please bear with us - we are sure that you can appreciate that we are not willing to move back into the building until everything is safe and secure for the children. Their safety is paramount and it is certainly not acceptable for us to move in when there are workmen still coming and going from the building, and still working inside. We are entering the final stages and as soon as we have dates we will let you know. All the staff, officers and committee would like to thank parents and carers once again for your patience and ongoing commitment to Starcross Pre-school. We are almost there!

Starcross Preschool are taking part in the Rotary Community Raffle again this year, which was initially set up to help support organisations such as ourselves. Every ticket we sell, the pre-school keeps the money!
All monies, completed stubs and unsold tickets must be returned to the pre-school in an envelope for the attention of our administrator Sue Rowsell. We must try to aim to sell these tickets by Friday 3 July 2009.
More information can be found in the letter to parents/carers regarding the Rotary Community Raffle.
Children at Starcross Preschool are taking part in this exciting project, funded by Youth Music. As part of the project, there are three packs containing different puppets, instruments and cards in each, which parents are invited to borrow to take home and share with their child.
More information can be found on the about the Mulberry Bush Music Project poster.
